The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development through Cooperative College’s extension and entreprenuership department conducts outreach training to cooperators and entreprenuers in all the ten(10) provinces of Zambia with yearly selection of districts for training. The standard focus of the training is on Mindset Change , Ministry Mandate , entreprenuership , Governance , Marketing , Business Planning , Post Harvest technologies , Mechanisation , Record Keeping , Climate Change , Resource Mobilisation , Value Addition etc.
However , the College has custom tailored programmes for cooperators and entreprenuers who may need other areas of training.

1. What courses does your institution offer? We offer a Diploma in Agribusiness Management (3 years), a Diploma in Cooperatives and Business Management (3 years), as well as a variety of short courses in entrepreneurship, agribusiness, and business-related fields,Leather and Computer Studies
2. Who can apply to study at your institution? Our programmes are open to school leavers, mature students, entrepreneurs, farmers, cooperative members, and anyone interested in gaining practical business and agribusiness skills.
3. Is your institution registered and accredited? Yes, our institution is legally registered and operates in line with the relevant education and training regulations.The College is Affiliated to Mulungushi University and Accredited to TEVETA
4. Where is the institution located? Our institution is physically located within Zambia. Located Direct Opposite Leopards Hill Mall and near St Mathias Mulumba Catholic Church , along Leopards Hill Road , New Kasama , Lusaka.
5. Do you offer online, physical, or blended learning? We primarily offer physical (face-to-face) learning, with selected short courses available through flexible or blended learning modes.

6. What are the entry requirements for your programmes? Applicants for diploma programmes should have a full Grade 12 certificate or its equivalent. Mature applicants with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply with Certificate in Cooperative Develoment and Agribusiness Management(CDAM)
For Short Courses , there are no entry requirements as most of them are skill based courses.
7. How do I apply for a course? You can apply by completing an application form available from our institution and submitting the required documents or Apply Online through our website
8. When are intakes conducted? We conduct One intake during the year for Full Time which starts in January
We also conduct One intake during the year for Distance Learning which also starts in January but has entry Point in January and April
9. Can I apply if I am currently working? Yes. Our programmes are suitable for working individuals, especially our Short courses and Distance Learning with flexible learning options.
10. Do you accept mature or non-school leavers? Yes, we accept mature students and non-school leavers who demonstrate relevant work or business experience.
11. How long do the programmes take to complete? Both diploma programmes take three (3) years to complete. Short courses range from a few days to a month depending on the course. Usually two(2) weeks.
12. Are the courses theory-based or practical? Our courses combine theory and practical training, with a strong emphasis on real-world application.
13. Do students participate in internships or fieldwork? Yes, diploma students participate in practical attachments, fieldwork, and projects related to agribusiness and cooperative management -Filed Attachmenet in Second(2) and Third(3) years for a period of 3 months each totalling 6 months
Yes,Short course students are usually subjected to more practical than theory as most of the courses are skill based courses.
14. Are entrepreneurship skills taught across all programmes? Yes, entrepreneurship and business skills are integrated into all our long term programmes.
15. Will I receive a certificate or qualification after completion? Yes. Upon successful completion, Long Term or Short Term students receive a recognized diploma or certificate, depending on the programme.
